Kurt Noer - President / CEO Contact This Executive
Born and raised in Chicago, Kurt has been in Virginia Beach, Virginia since 1984. Kurt Noer’s first job was for a marketing firm in 1983, designing brochures. In those days, layouts were created by using an old school typesetter which printed out one strip of text at a time on a small piece of paper. This strip of paper was then positioned over a light table using hot wax.
Technology has come a long way since then. Through the years, Kurt has tried a little of everything including 3D CADD design for an architect firm, being a full-time youth pastor and launching an international, full color magazine.
While serving as a full time marketing director for a manufacturing company in the mid 1990’s, Kurt discovered how search engine marketing efforts were "blowing away" every other form of advertising … combined.
Based on this discovery, Kurt began writing a 45-page business plan to start his own search engine positioning company. With offers from multiple investors, he officially launched Customer Magnetism in May of 2000 with Virginia's largest accounting & consulting firm, Goodman & Company. Kurt bought out Goodman's share of the company on January 1, 2003.

He is happily married with two beautiful, young daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys time with his family, playing golf, snowboarding and following mma fights (mixed martial arts).
